De Aeon is het archetypische principe dat te maken heeft met fabelachtig onderscheidings- en oordelingsvermogen. Dit is het symbool van alwetendheid : allesomvattend, kritisch en reflecterend denkvermogen, bevrijd van vooroordeel. Aeon betekent letterlijk: onafzienbare tijdruimte, eeuwigheid.

Op de tekening staan twee slangen met een witte en een zwarte vleugel. Ervoor zweeft een oog met vleugels: het oog van Horus de Egyptische god van de waarneming. Dit oog symboliseert het totaaloverzicht.

The drawing shows two snakes. They both have a black and white wing. Hovering before them is a winged eye. This is the eye of Horus, the Egyptian god of perception and symbolises the all over survey.
