•On the
other hand, ac-module inverters are attached to the PV-module
and therefore it is assumed that the temperature of ac-module
inverters will be higher than of central inverters
•
•To find
out if this is actually true a prototype of the OK4all enclosure
was mounted on a PV module. An electronic circuit replaces
the inverter and dissipates 5% of the MPP power of
a 230 Wp laminate.
•
•Temperature
sensors were placed to log the ambient temperature, the cell
temperature and the inverter temperature.
•
•It is
assumed that the temperature of the power semiconductors is the
same as the temperature of the enclosure. It is expected that, due
to the thermal design of the OK4All, the temperature difference
between components and the enclosure can be limited to a view
degrees.
