COACH PROJECT
ITW
The objective of this project is to guide and mentor the migrant women to become coaches so as to be able to help other migrants and refugees, and to provide coach services for social organisations in Amsterdam . 
Coaches are professional fieldworkers and their task is to guide and to coach the migrants in improving their situation. Coaching involves many different aspects such as the following: 
 
        Giving information in the migrants own language about services and/or subsidies. 
        Seeing to that migrants register at the appropriate institutions. 
        Directing, and if needed accompanying immigrants to, for example : (legal) institutions, hospital or     the foreign police.

THE LOXANDRA PROJECT
CYPRUS
A Program that has been developed to deal with the training of single parents, giving them the opportunity  to enter the labour market and consequently to lead a better life. 
The specific problems related to the target group stem from the inequality between men and women.The Loxandra Project tackles these issues in order to give women & specifically single parents new opportunities in life. 
1998 -2001
    The Program strives to: 
    • Promote the acquisition of skills necessary to combat economic exclusion.
    • Cover the vocational training of the skilled / semiskilled single parents, in particular women in order to promote them into the productive labour market.
    • To take advantage of the skills these people already  possess through their roles as housewives.
    • Support single parents by providing them with the psychological framework to both face and overcome social exclusion.
 
 

 
European Community - Leonardo Da Vinci Project
"Women, Technology, Companies"
 
The Project "Women, Technology, Companies" (1995-1998) headed by the Dijon "Rectorat" has associated partner organisations in four European countries: Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. 
Its transnational and national results will be debated upon in the plenary sessions and three workshops. It will be possible to communicate in French and in English during the plenary sessions and in French, English and German in the sub working groups.
 

 
CREATIVE EMPOWERMENT FOR DEAF PEOPLE IN EUROPE
 
 
A project for young volunteers and 
  deaf people from the Netherlands
Portugal, France and Italy. 
 
Through creative activities youngsters from these countries will try to develop   another medium of communication with deaf people. 
The aim of the project is to create a new opportunity for communication for deaf people as well as to enlarge the the understanding between youngsters and people with a handicap. 
During eight months the Netherlands, Portugal, France and Italy  will invite and supervise volunteers for the programme which will take part in five phases.
