We are a new cattery situated in
Victoria, Australia. Our main aim is to try & bring back the old
Applehead Siamese that we used to know & love some 40 years ago.

De Siamezen en Oosters Korthaarclub van
Neocat, SOK, is een rasclub binnen Neocat en bestemd voor alle
liefhebbers van en bezitters van Siamezen, Oosters Kortharen, Mandarins,
Balinezen en Thai's. De SOK is opgericht in 1981 en bestaat dit jaar
(2001) dus 20 jaar

In 1982 besloten nagenoeg alle Nederlandse onafhankelijke keurmeesters om
zich te organiseren in een groep die al snel ,,de NOK” werd genoemd.

Was started in 1995, by Siamese cat
owner Sheelagh Le Cocq, after she had spent several
years searching for a Traditional Siamese to replace
her beloved cat Sandy, who had died at the venerable
age of 18. Sheelagh hunted the length and breadth of
the UK, contacted the Siamese Cat Clubs and wrote to
cat magazines but with little success

Old-style Siamese Club was officially founded early in 2000 to
provide a forum and meeting place for those who wish to perpetuate the
look, size, vigour and character of the Old-style Siamese.

Old-Style Siamese Breed Preservation Society (PREOSSIA)
is the only club in North America that is devoted solely to the
preservation of the Old-Style Siamese (OSS), a type of pedigreed Siamese
cat that was once common but which now is in danger of extinction.

The Traditional Cat Association, INC. (TCA, INC.) is the worlds largest
Registry of Traditional Cats, Classic Cats and Household Pets. We are the
original association who started the movement to bring back the old style,
original body type of each breed starting with the Siamese.
